DJ Ron Love was born in Flushing, NY and moved to Florida with his parents as a pre-teen. He has always been fascinated with music and has always occupied himself with music since childhood. From break dancing to playing baritone & sousaphone (tuba) in middle & high school, to being known as the hot local DJ in the town of Palatka, Florida.
DJ Ron Love joined Clear Channel Broadcasting's 92.7 the BEAT in December 1995 as an overnight jock under the direction of Paco Lopez. Driven by the love for music, as well as a desire to learn about the industry, Ron Love applied himself accordingly and became an established name in the DJ scene. DJ Ron Love has been with Clear Channel’s 92.7 The Beat Jamz FM in Jacksonville, FL. from 1995 thru 1998 and established himself as the first DJ on the air to have multiple mixshows in all day parts aired on 92.7 the BEAT. DJ Ron Love has also been nominated for “Hottest Dirty South DJ in Central Florida” by Ozone Magazine (formerly known as Orlando Source). DJ Ron Love has appeared on 2 episodes of BET’s Rap City Tha Bassment with Big Tigga. From Miami to Manhattan DJ Ron Love can be heard either in the club scene, on a CD, on the air, or in the mix.
DJ Ron Love has performed throughout the country performing at parties, wedding receptions, as well as hosting special events. You may find Ron Love performing at a Super Sweet Sixteen birthday party near you only to turn around and find him on the 50 yard line opening for a post-game major act.
